Terms & Conditions
Acceptance of any estimate, service, or invoice from Shhh Electric Landscaping constitutes agreement to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Recurring Lawn Maintenance Services
1.1 Recurring Service Pricing
Quoted prices are for recurring lawn maintenance only.
One-time mowing requests are subject to separate pricing.
1.2 Mowing Season Schedule
Our mowing season runs from April 1 through the first full week of November.
1.3 Winter Property Maintenance Program
Winter Property Maintenance begins the week following the final mowing service and continues through the week prior to mowing season resuming in April.
Clients are automatically enrolled in the Winter Property Maintenance Program unless written notice to opt out is provided prior to the start of the winter season.
1.4 Initial Site Inspection
A site inspection will be performed prior to the first service to confirm pricing, property size, and service scope.
1.5 Overgrown Lawns
If a lawn is significantly overgrown at the time of first service:
- The initial visit may be charged up to 2x the regular maintenance rate.
- A cleanup service may be required before recurring maintenance begins.
1.6 Property Preparation
Clients are responsible for removing toys, hoses, lawn furniture, decorations, pet waste, and other obstacles prior to service.
If the property is not properly prepared:
- Service may be partially completed for safety reasons.
- The full service price will still apply.
1.7 Access to Property
Gates must be unlocked and pets secured on the scheduled service day.
If access cannot be gained, a service charge may apply.
1.8 Weather Delays
Services may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions. Service will resume as soon as conditions allow.
1.9 Payment Terms
Payment is due by the Friday following completed service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.10 Suspension for Non-Payment
Service may be paused if invoices are not paid by the due date. Past due balances must be paid before service resumes.
1.11 Cancellation
Clients may cancel recurring service at any time with written notice prior to the next scheduled visit.
1.12 Damage & Liability
Shhh Electric Landscaping is not responsible for damage caused by:
- Hidden objects (rocks, toys, debris, etc.)
- Unmarked sprinkler heads or underground utilities
- Existing lawn disease or pre-existing property conditions
2. Project & Installation Services
(Project services include but are not limited to mulch installation, cleanups, landscape bed work, trimming, planting, and other non-recurring services.)
2.1 Estimates & Scope of Work
Estimates are based on visible site conditions at the time of inspection. Any additional work requested or required beyond the original scope may result in additional charges.
2.2 Deposits
Certain projects may require a deposit prior to scheduling. Work will not be scheduled until required deposits are received.
2.3 Material Variations
Landscaping materials are natural products and may vary in color, texture, or appearance. Shhh Electric Landscaping is not responsible for natural variations.
Material pricing is subject to change based on supplier costs.
2.4 Site Conditions
Clients are responsible for marking private utilities, invisible dog fences, sprinkler lines, and any underground installations prior to work beginning.
Shhh Electric Landscaping is not responsible for damage to unmarked or improperly marked utilities.
2.5 Overgrown or Neglected Properties
If a property is significantly overgrown or contains excessive debris, additional cleanup charges may apply.
2.6 Weather & Scheduling
Project timelines may be adjusted due to weather conditions, material availability, or unforeseen site conditions.
2.7 Final Payment
Payment for project work is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.8 Access
Clients must provide access to water and property as needed for completion of the project.
3. General Provisions
Shhh Electric Landscaping reserves the right to:
- Adjust scheduling based on operational needs
- Refuse service due to unsafe conditions
- Update pricing with notice
Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms & Conditions.
